Cancellation/Change Policy


Effective date: March 12, 2024

 

Summer Camp & After-School Programs (3-18 years of age)

 

At our Tennis Academy, we understand that plans can change. To ensure fairness for both our valued patrons and our dedicated coaches, we've established the following easy-to-follow cancellation policy:

 

  • With 14 Days or More Notice: If you need to cancel or reschedule an event more than 14 days in advance, no worries! You're entitled to a full refund. All refunds will be automatically credited to your academy balance, and the great news is, this credit will never expire! It's ready to be used for any other MC Academy of Tennis activities, such as camps or after-school programs. If you prefer to have this refund returned to your original method of payment (debit or credit card), just let us know in your cancellation reason or send us an email at info@mcacademyoftennis.com

 

  • Less Than 14 Days Notice: Life happens, and we get that. If you find yourself needing to cancel or reschedule with less than 14 days' notice, we've got you covered with a refund credited to your academy balance. This credit, which also never expires, is yours to enjoy for any other MC Academy of Tennis activities.

 

  • Less Than 24 Hours Notice: We're all about flexibility, but with less than 24 hours' notice, we're unable to offer a refund. We appreciate your understanding as this helps us maintain the quality and scheduling of our programs.

 

If you would like to withdraw or change the events date, time, or type, please login to your account :

 

1.    Choose Events (left portion) - My Events – Details (select date).

2.    Find the date & time of the upcoming event you wish to cancel. 

3.    Click the red WITHDRAW button. To modify your reservation's date, time, or type, please note that you must withdraw from the current event (you will receive a refund, allow 10 minutes) and then register for a new one.

How to use your balance:

You can now log into your account and sign up for another session (choose any date [navigate to events-list], and the system will use your balance as a payment method). Thank you.

Membership Requirements

Please note to participate in the following:

  • MC Academy of Tennis at Martingrove Tennis Club, a membership of $25 (per child) is required for the season.

  • This amount will be added to the program's cost (in addition to the program). 

  • MC Academy of Tennis at Forest Hill Tennis Club, a membership of $39.55 (per child) is required for the season.

  • This amount will be added to the program's cost (in addition to the program). 

 

Why do we need to pay this fee: this fee allows us to use Martingrove Tennis Club's/Forest Hill Tennis Club's courts

and book lessons and is a requirement for anyone who wishes to use them. We have worked hard to keep this

fee low, so everyone can enjoy the Academy!

 

Juniors have full access to the courts unless an Adult Activity is taking up all of the courts. If an Adult Activity is running and there is a court available, Junior Members have full access to that

court. Junior Members can also attend all of our monthly social activities! Junior membership allows for unlimited court usage as long as the courts are not booked for Adult Events. Usually,

the courts are busy on weeknights between 7:00 and 10:00 p.m.; however, weekend afternoons are wide open.

Private & Semi-Private Lessons

 

24h Cancellation Policy applies (please cancel or reschedule your lesson online). Please NOTE: The full lesson fee will be
charged if a Player doesn`t show up for the session or doesn`t cancel or reschedule more than 24h in advance.

To cancel or reschedule your lesson, please navigate to the bottom of the email, where two buttons are available: Reschedule and Cancel.

Make-up/Rain Policy

​

Make-up sessions are applicable only for after-school programs in the event of rain. 

 

An email will be sent out if the sessions are cancelled due to rain. 
If a session is cancelled due to rain, a make-up session will be offered. A credit will be added to your account for every cancelled after-school session, which can be used towards our programs. The credit cannot be redeemed for cash.

 

In case of rain during the summer camps, your child will stay at the clubhouse, and supervised indoor activities will be provided.

At MC Academy of Tennis we strive to provide the best experience.  From start to finish, Mike, Adrian and the rest of our team are here for you with anything you need.  If you are unhappy with a session it is always best to address your concerns on-site  with the instructor.  If the instructor is unable to resolve the issue for you speak to Mike/Adrian and they will address your concerns.
